A paving works in Khamgaon

We cast paver blocks, tiles, jali and cement products at our own unit at Sutala (Bk), near MIDC Khamgaon, and sell them to the people building in and around Buldana district.

Who we are

Shree Madhuban Industries is a manufacturing unit, not a trading counter. Everything we sell is cast here — designer paver blocks and tiles, mosaic and galicha tiles, cement jali and cement products — which is why we can take an order for a size that is not on anybody's standard list.

The business is run by Pankaj Agrawal, who handles rates, site queries and dispatch himself. Our city showroom at Agrawal Crockeries, Baradari, Khamgaon, keeps samples of the regular shapes and shades, so you can look at a block in your hand before deciding on a load of them.

Most of our work is repeat work: a contractor who paved one society road comes back for the next one, and the householder next door calls after seeing the driveway. That only happens if what we cast this year matches what we cast last year.

How a block is made

Five stages, and the last one is the one most people skip. A block that leaves the yard early looks identical and behaves nothing alike.

  1. Batching

Cement, crushed sand and aggregate measured out for the grade of block being cast. The face layer is a richer mix than the body, because the face is what takes the wear.

  2. Mixing

Dry mixing first, then water added to a controlled consistency. Colour oxide goes into the face mix at this stage, weighed against the cement so the shade repeats across the batch.

  3. Pressing and vibration

The mix is filled into the mould and compacted under vibration and pressure. This is what removes the air voids — and voids are what let water in and break a block apart over a few monsoons.

  4. Curing

Blocks are demoulded, stacked and kept wet while the cement gains strength. Cutting this short is the single most common reason paving fails, and it is the stage no buyer can inspect after the fact.

  5. Stacking and dispatch

Cured blocks are sorted by shade and shape, stacked, and loaded by count so the quantity that leaves the yard is the quantity you pay for.

How we work with you

1. Tell us the site

Area in square feet, what will drive or stand on it, and where it is. That decides the shape and the thickness before anything else.

2. See a sample

Pick the shape and shade from samples at the showroom or the unit. We will tell you plainly if a shade will be hard to repeat.

3. We cast and load

Your quantity is cast, cured and stacked together, then loaded for delivery or collection from the Sutala unit.
