What we cast

Ten product families, all made at the Sutala unit. Sizes below are our standard moulds — cut sizes, custom borders and special shades are made to order.

Zig-zag interlocking paver blocks laid in a field
Zig-zag blocks laid in a straight bond.

Zig-zag paver blocks

The most-used interlocking block in the district, and the one we cast most of. The wave on each edge locks into its neighbour in both directions, so wheels turning on the surface push the load sideways into the whole field instead of lifting one block.

Standard size225 × 112.5 mm
Thickness60 mm (paths, parking) · 80 mm (society roads) · 100 mm (heavy traffic)
FinishPlain grey, coloured top layer, or full-body colour
Laid asStraight bond, herringbone or basket weave
  • Driveways
  • Society roads
  • Parking bays
  • Footpaths
I-shape dumbbell paver blocks
I-shape blocks, alternating course.

I-shape & dumbbell blocks

Notched on all four sides, so each block is held by the four around it. This is what you want where vehicles stand still under load rather than drive across — the standing weight is spread instead of punching one block down.

Standard size200 × 165 mm
Thickness80 mm and 100 mm
FinishPlain grey or coloured top layer
Laid asRunning bond with a kerb or edge restraint on all sides
  • Factory yards
  • Loading bays
  • Petrol pumps
  • Godown aprons
Hexagonal paver blocks in two shades
Hexagon blocks in two shades.

Hexagon & cosmic blocks

Six-sided blocks that read as a pattern from a distance, which is why they are chosen for places people walk slowly — temple grounds, garden paths, hotel forecourts. Two or three shades mixed in the same field give the honeycomb effect.

Standard size200 mm across flats · also 150 mm
Thickness60 mm and 80 mm
FinishColoured top layer, two or three shades mixed
Laid asHoneycomb field with half-blocks at the edges
  • Temple courtyards
  • Gardens
  • Walkways
  • Forecourts
Mixed-size cobble paving blocks
Mixed-size cobble, random bond.

Cobble & Milano blocks

Square and rectangular blocks in two or three sizes, laid in a random bond so no joint runs straight for long. Suits older houses, farmhouse approaches and anywhere a plain grid would look too new.

Standard sizes100 × 100 mm · 200 × 100 mm · 200 × 200 mm
Thickness60 mm and 80 mm
FinishPlain, coloured, or antique-tumbled edge on request
Laid asRandom bond, mixed sizes from the same pallet

  • Landscaping
  • Resorts
Rectangular paver blocks in running bond
Rectangular pavers, running bond.

Rectangular pavers & borders

The plain rectangle, used as a field on its own or as the border that frames a zig-zag or hexagon field. Also the block we cut for steps, edges and drain surrounds.

Standard size200 × 100 mm
Thickness60 mm and 80 mm
FinishPlain grey, red, black or ochre top layer
Laid asRunning bond, herringbone, or as a two-course border

Galicha carpet tile with border bands and a centre motif
Galicha tile — bordered carpet pattern.

Galicha tiles

Carpet-pattern cement tiles cast with a border band and a centre motif, so a laid floor reads as one large rug rather than a grid of tiles. Made in our own moulds, which means the border and motif can be changed for your room size.

Standard sizes400 × 400 mm · 600 × 600 mm · panel sets to order
Thickness22–25 mm
FinishCast colour; polished on site after laying and curing
Made to orderBorder width, motif and colour matched to the room

  • Entrance lobbies
Chequered mosaic floor tiles with cast grooves
Chequered mosaic tiles with cast grip grooves.

Mosaic & chequered tiles

Plain mosaic tiles for indoor floors, and chequered tiles with cast grooves for ramps, steps and wet areas where a smooth floor would be a hazard.

Standard sizes250 × 250 mm · 300 × 300 mm
Thickness20–25 mm
FinishPlain, chequered, or grooved anti-skid top
ColoursGrey, red, black, ochre, green and mixed chips
  • Ramps

Split-face elevation cladding tiles on a wall
Split-face elevation cladding on a compound wall.

Elevation tiles

Textured cement cladding for the faces people actually look at — compound walls, gate pillars, plinths and house fronts. The split face throws a shadow line, so the wall keeps its character in flat afternoon light instead of going blank.

Standard sizes300 × 600 mm · 300 × 300 mm · strip courses to order
Thickness15–25 mm, varying with the face texture
FinishSplit face, rough stone, grooved, or smooth banded
FixingCement mortar bed; sealer coat recommended after fixing
  • Compound walls
  • Gate pillars
  • House fronts
  • Plinths
Perforated cement jali screen blocks
Jali screen, alternating diamond and round openings.

Cement jali

Perforated screen blocks that let air and light through a wall while keeping sun and rain out — staircase shafts, bathroom vents, boundary walls and temple screens. Cast in our own moulds, so the pattern can be matched across a whole elevation.

Standard sizes300 × 300 mm · 450 × 450 mm · 600 × 600 mm
Thickness40–60 mm
PatternsDiamond, round, floral and geometric openings
FixingBuilt into the wall course or framed in an opening

  • Staircase shafts
  • Temple screens
Kerb stones separating a paved footpath from a road
Kerb stones, footpath paving and road edging.

Kerb stones & cement products

The rest of what a paving job needs, so you are not chasing four suppliers for one site. All cast in the same yard, from the same mix, at the same time as your blocks.

Sizes and thicknesses listed here are our standard moulds. If your drawing calls for something else, send it across — most custom shapes are a mould change, not a different factory.
